michael took these shots and i love them.
i love easter. and not just for the candy and easter egg coloring.
i love the meaning behind it too. the thought that He saved us.
the pain He went through. all the suffering just for us. i still haven't
brought myself to watch that movie about it all....but maybe i will this weekend, for HIM> the one who made my life worth living...God bless you all and have a wonderful Easter....remember HIM who died for us.
I just couldn't resist these shoes and both my girls LOVED them so we got them . JcPenney was having a "buy one pair get the next for a dollar" deal. so we got 4 pairs of shoes that day....
and i set up the timer to take this family dinner shot. savannah always stresses how important it is to her that we eat dinner as a family. and how it makes her feel special and loved. i am glad i got it on print. it's not the most perfect photo but it's one of those that is a great memory to have.
well, not really baseball girls. but they are LOVING playing catch with daddy. i was really happy and proud of michael for going out and getting gloves/softballs( PINK ONES!!!) to play catch and have some daddy/daughter fuN! he even went back and got me a glove last night so we could all play. i caught these last night as the sun was just about down so i had to shoot on pretty high speed film and low shutter speed BUT they turned out pretty cute although i got some blurry ones too. i am just happy to have the moment!
okay there are about 80 photos so i could go on posting all night but will stop here! happy weekend! we are off to a birthday party todaY!
feels so good right now. to have 50 degree weather. my kids think it's time to wear summer clothes and take their shoes off. as long as they are warm. and having fun i dont' have a problem with it! cari came over yesterday and we took some photos then headed to the park to take some more! so much FUN!
more here! and on cari's blog here! thanks so much for leaving comments!
read this and pray for this sweet young boy. only a freshman in high school. injured in a skiing accident. he is my nephews friend and from my hometown. even though i don't know kurt, i ask that if you believe in the power of prayer to please pray for him and for his family. thank you!
it's just busy. we are having fun. but it just goes by too fast.
we have been: taking walks. taking pictures. riding their bikes.
doing homework, playing lots in their rooms. reading. drawing.
scrapbooking. making birthday cards. here are some recent photos.
i had my camera in the sepia mode. just for something fun and different.
so i didn't have to turn them this way after.
writing in a journal. ava trying to see what she is writing.
okay there are about 100 more but i am sick of loading them UP!
thanks for reading my blog!
have a happy tuesday. off to workout. YUK!
i was sick with this awful terrible ugly flu
for 3.5 days it was BAD! i could not get out
of bed 2 days in a row. my head hurt, my body
ached, i had a fever & the chills and some sinus
stuff on top of it, which i still have that part. the
good thing is i lost 4lbs LOL! the ONLY GOOD THING>
the girls even stayed home from school because i couldn't
bring them and i couldn't even get up to find a phone number
to call anyone or think of who to call....and michael just went
along to work like i was fine. MEN!!!! he didn't realize how sick i
was. oh well. glad to be back among the real world now!
here are a few shots from yesterday.
hoola hooping. savannah can do about 300 spins whereas ava can do about 5. lol but savannah thinks ava looks cuter doing it LOL so she was POUTING> too fuNNY!
hope nobody else gets this rotten flu!!! stay healthy!
ava and i have really enjoyed cooking together and we have also been watching some cooking shows: our faves so far are COOKIN' in Brooklyn and License to Grill.....we LOVE watching these shows as a family and can't wait to try out the grilling stuff this summer! today ava was home sick and helped me make some vegetarian chili. YUM i am a bit obsessed with this chili! i have made it 3x in the last week, because it's a great way to get my veggies in! i have it for a snack even. and sometimes add turkey to it. it's so YUMMY right jane?!
i enjoyed ava being home today, we played a math game, she drew a beautiful picture of our family and we cooked. she's a joy to be around (most of the time ha!)....here are some captures of our day, you can see more here
